Epicare Associates was founded in 1994, and specialized in corporate and healthcare training. During her tenure as Director of Nursing Education at The New York Hospital, Sally Ann Corbo received many inquiries from other organizations about challenging training issues. In 1996, the focus of Epicare Associates, Inc. turned to providing education on an outsourced basis targeting small to mid-sized healthcare organizations.
Epicare Associates believes that management trends are transient, but educational experiences promote personal development. This concept is carried into our programs which are designed to develop individuals on three levels:
- Intrapersonal: programs which develop the person such as stress or time management
- Interpersonal: offerings which enable one's ability to interact or work with others such as the communication series, preceptor or charge nurse workshop
- Extrapersonal: skills which promote organizational effectiveness such as teambuilding
